A World of Orchids at South African Orchid Council’s National Orchid Show

The Rustenburg Orchid Society is proud to be hosting the 15^th South African Orchid Council National Orchid Conference and Show from the 27– 30 September 2012. Orchid societies from across the country will showcase their beautiful blooms against the backdrop of elegant architecture that is the Rustenburg Civic Centre. Local and international vendors will also be selling their wares, with stalls located in City Hall and for the foodies there will be a yummy deli to satisfy their tummies.

On the 5th of November Plantae is hosting an open day on the Boscia Farm just outside of Brits north of Pretoria. Take advantage of having the run of this specialist nursery dedicated to orchids and other rare and unusual plants. Wonderful scenery, a wide range of indigenous birds and trees will add to the magic of the visit!
