Easy as pie… tuna pie that is.

Serves: 4
Preparation time:
5 minutes
Cooking time:
3 minutes
Baking time:
 15 minutes
Oven temperature:
 180 °C

Ingredients:
• 4 slices bread, crusts removed
• 30ml butter
• 250ml milk
• 1 can tuna in brine, drained
• 300ml Cheddar, grated
• 2 large eggs
• 1 large onion, grated
• 5ml baking powder
1.    Break up the slices of bread into small pieces. Reserve a quarter of the cheese and then mix together the remaining ingredients in a saucepan, except the baking powder.
2.      Cook the mixture over a low heat for a couple of minutes, stirring constantly.
3.   Stir in the baking powder and then pour into a greased baking dish or into individual dishes. Sprinkle the reserved cheese over and bake in a preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes. Serve with potato wedges and salad.
