Going beyond green with Stonehaven Projects

Focused on waterproofing, structural concrete and specialized painting, Stonehaven Projects is committed to supporting “Green Innovation” and is one of the few companies striving to look after our environment.

Established in 2006 by Kobus Uys, Stonehaven Projects provides quality concrete work and waterproofing. These industry leaders are known for taking into account new ways of solving construction problems with the most up to date information and technology. More importantly, with the support of Mapei Products as one of their main suppliers, Stonehaven considers environmental responsibility as a priority, rather than a part-time indulgence.

Looking for LEED-certification? Their use of Mapei’s products, 150 of which feature the "green innovation" mark, will help to contribute valuable points towards your LEED-certified projects.

More than just a statement, this great DIY project from Honor of Home Heart Craft fame, is an amazing way to share your passion and beautify your home. The project is feminine and charming; and we particularly enjoy her use of paint layers to give dimension and colour to the stitches.

For those of you interested in pinching the idea for your own home check out the tutorial below, although we also suggest you click here and pay a visit to the Home Heart Craft blog for some more useful tips and a peak at her gorgeous vintage style kitchen.
