Often described as one of the best in the country, the Tulbagh Horse & Wild Flower Shower is the longest event of its kind in South Africa. It combines the beauty of Wild Flowers with dazzling equestrian performances from more than 300 horses and their riders. Topping the bill this year are the SA Friesian Championships and the WP Saddle Horse Trials. But that’s just the tip of the ice berg. There’s also the very popular poultry section and the flower hall which showcases the flowers of Cape veld in their natural state. Natural state indeed, ha ha.
